[Avid-L2] Group Clip Question

 

Hey gang,

Does anyone know definitively how many clips can be contained in one Group Clip?
For clarity: _not_ how many can be _viewed_ at one time, but how many can be _grouped together_ into one, single Group Clip.
For example, I cut a comedy concert for Paramount with about 12 or 13 cameras some years ago.

I seem to remember that the maximum number is either 99, or 999 . . .
I just can't remember, and I can't seem to find that info anywhere.

Anyone have that trivia floating around in the forefront of their Grey Matter?
