Job,
All nice, but there is no way to set correct levels on AMA import.
(In my case, Prores import does not work correctly with AMA, i need a normal
import with RGB as input..)

This makes very little sense to me, sorry.

There are two project types, RGB709 and YCrCb709. One is 4:4:4, the other is
4:2:2. In either, Avid works in studio swing (16-235 in 8-bit).

The RGB/601/709 setting in the import dialogue box is ill-named, and does
not refer to 4:4:4 versus 4:2:2 but rather to full swing (0-255 8bit) versus
studio swing (16-235 8bit).

Nothing changed with those import settings in v6.

When you AMA, you STILL need to consider full swing versus studio swing
issues, and through Source Settings you can still modify these settings when
needed.
