The MC offer exceeded our expectations, way, way more actually. We've never had a Symphony software version available before and had a bunch requests for crossgrades and upgrades from FCP and Media Composer. We're not dumping inventory- just the opposite. This is an chance to give more FCP crossgrades some additional color correction and FX capabilities and a great price- same for any Media Composer user who is looking to upgrade.

This is a very odd promo and smells desperate. Why would the company do this if Symphony is still a revenue generating product? Get people to Symphony and then merge MC? Did the MC offer not do was expected so they upped the ante? And why exclude FCPX? Is a $299 software too cheap to include? Very interesting.
