Probably the most infuriating ui change for me was the change of the audio monitoring interface in the timeline. It used to be simple (which is all you need) click the speaker icon to toggle on and off, control click to solo the track. Now when I want to mute or solo I have to figure out which tiny, unlabeled button to press for mute or solo. It seems they spent a lot of effort to make the interface more difficult to use.
