Don't forget about Eyeon Fusion connection, that will work with Symph, MC and DS as a plugin.

That's my point. Apparently, they added an standard source/record editing interface, plus a DS-style FX-interface. So if Avid would be able to merge Symphony and DS, it would sort of look like Smoke 2013, no? Add a Baselight plugin on top of that, and what else would anyone need?
