Re: [Avid-L2] 2 way vs. 3 way stripe internal raid on MacPro?

Initially, I ran a 4 disk internal raid 0 on my Mac Pro, with the boot
drive in the second optical bay. Though the speeds were very good, I found
it got unstable during long edit sessions...I felt it was a heat buildup
issue.

I switched to an external array (4 disks NOT PORT MULTIPLIED). Much
happier now. Still RAID 0, but I back everything up.
