[Avid-L2] Re: Resolve and Symphony

Greg

I don't have a Black magic card and Symphony together but do run a Kona card along with my Symphony and DX box. The Symphony will grab the DX box over the Kona card with no problems. It seems that Symphony looks for Avid Hardware first.

Hope that helps.

I have my edit bay set up with 2 separate computers, and it's a pain in the ass to switch between them all the time. Since the Resolve box has an expansion Chasis anyway, I wonder if I can have both cards in there at the same time. And if you're doing it, how does symphony know which card to use? I still need Symphony Universal, otherwise, I'd just go BlackMagic.
