[Avid-L2] Black Magic Hyper Deck not maintaining metadata when fast importing

 

We are looking into buying a hyper deck studio and several hyper deck shuttles for an upcoming studio show. We were told by someone who has used these that a DNxHD wrapped QT does not contain all metadata when fast imported into Avid. Is this true and does it also apply to AMA'ed QT files? Also, has anyone use the MXF recording function yet? And if so is there any issues using MXF?
