Re: [Avid-L2] Stills Asset Management

If you are willing to use open-source software, ResourceSpace can do it for free (with no per-user fee) from a webserver or on a local server. It has a nice, clean interface for an open-source project.

However, MediaSilo is a great pre-built solution.... depends
how much functionality you need or are willing to pay for.

CatDV does a bang up job.

Mount the ISIS workspace on the CatDV client. Drag. Drop. Done. It reads
the files and all the EXIF data automatically.

I have a need for stills management for a shared ISIS/Interplay
environment. I'd like to know if anyone has any non-Avid-based
recommendations for some sort of shared stills management.

I've looked at eMAM (http://empressdigital.com/) and just stumbled
across Extensis Portfolio Server.

What else is out there?

Thanks in advance
