Re: [Avid-L2] Okay - What have they done with slide trim in V.6?

Working now! The thing crashed shortly after I posted. Maybe general memory fatigue was really the issue.

Actually, on the whole slip and slide feel better than they did in the early days of the v.5 Not-So-Smart-Tools (shudder!).

Thanks guys!

Shirley

Shift+opt/alt+ lasso right to left
or
double-click at the transition when already in trim mode.
The first double-click puts you in Slip... double-click again for Slide . . .
I know, I know . . . <shaking head along with you>

even resorted to the help documents! No combination of modifiers, clicking and
double clicking transitions, lassoing, etc., seems to bring up slide trim,
either from trim or source record mode. Anybody else see this? And if you are
happily sliding away, how are you getting there?

values has gone away in the effect editor? I'm just scaling some mattes down,
and the interface only seems to want to let me drag sliders to set values. Say
it ain't so!
