It depends on whether you're running other applications or not. If you're
just running avid and it's running fine, then there's absolutely no reason
to upgrade. But most other programs usually require that you have the most
updated version of your graphics drivers for the best performance... Can't
tell you how many times updating the drivers have solved my problems...
I'm running MC6 on a 9600GT, GTX460, and GTX570 (with a blackmagic
decklink studio) - all with updated drivers, no official support, and no
problems...
