[Avid-L2] Okay - What have they done with slide trim in V.6?

 

Hey Gang,

Lion 10.7.3, MC 6.0.1. I can't seem to get into slide mode to save my life. If even resorted to the help documents! No combination of modifiers, clicking and double clicking transitions, lassoing, etc., seems to bring up slide trim, either from trim or source record mode. Anybody else see this? And if you are happily sliding away, how are you getting there?

And can it really be true that basic numeric entry for things like scale values has gone away in the effect editor? I'm just scaling some mattes down, and the interface only seems to want to let me drag sliders to set values. Say it ain't so!
