I have a 23.976 1080P project and the sequence TC 1 values are in 30 frame code NDF all colons. I have taken that sequence and cut it into a new sequence and that sequence has a TC1 that is now 24 frame time code. I'm aware of this behavior but I'm curious exactly what the protocol is for what determines the TC1 time code type for a sequence. It would seem that the TC1 is determined by the project format that is active when the sequence is created. I'm trying to figure out how this online sequence didn't already have a TC1 with 24frame code. Could it be that the project was toggled to NTSC 23.976 when the sequence was created? IIRC an NTSC 24 frame project will have 30 frame for the TC1. And next it's the fun of a 24 frame credit roll. What a pain.
