[Avid-L2] Re: OT: JVC DT-V24G1 monitors, anyone?

Yes I've been on a JVC for a while and while the blacks aren't good I've just relied on my scope more. I did just get a Sony PVM-2541 last week and it's great. It has sped up my color correction because I was dealing with a consumer plasma that bloomed like there's no tomorrow. The first client screening went almost and hour faster at least as far as color correction was concerned. The creative changes however remained the same. I think the JVC would be fine for students but I've heard and seen great things about the Flanders Scientific. But now that I've got a Sony I'm not going to look back although today's session is on a JVC tonights will be with my Sony. It gives me something to look forward to. ;-)
