[Avid-L2] Mac MC development and Mountain Lion

 

So, as an Avid Editor what worries me the most about the Mountain Lion announcement from Apple today is what is going to happen to bug fixes in MCv6? There are a ton of bugs in the Mac version of MCv6. And if a new OS is coming out in July, or some time around then, then what happens with getting updates for MCv6? Does Avid continue to work on bug fixes for Lion and get behind on developing for Mountain Lion? Or do they stop doing bug fix releases until Mountain Lion comes out?

I would like to think that they could continue with bug fixes for Lion and develop for Mountain Lion at the same time. But when you consider some of the basic user interface bugs that exist in MCv6, like editing names in a bin, I really have to question if they have the resources to do both tasks.
