West Hollywood production company seeks freelance editor to help with overflow. The position is temporary, but will last at least a couple of months and may lead to permanent opportunities.
Please do not apply unless you meet ALL of the following requirements:
-Able to start ASAP
-Consistent availability during the week (ideally every day Monday-Friday)
-Expert in both Avid and Final Cut--you should know them both cold and be able to work FAST
-Ability to work well with clients (often in the room while you edit)
-Strong organizational skills and self-management
-Attention to detail and deadlines
-Great creative instinct
We're a small company but our projects are diverse, running the spectrum from demo reels to multi-million dollar features. We're a fun, relaxed company with a bunch of awesome projects in the works (after all, that's why we're hiring!) but we need someone with a great work ethic who always gets the job done. In addition to having some flexibility with your schedule, you'll get to have creative control on a variety of projects without being micro-managed.
LOCAL CANDIDATES HIGHLY PREFERRED.
