The real question here is, did it help Darren or not? Did it adversely affect any programs and/or features he currently has installed on his workstation or not? It's a simple solution to a simple problem. If Darren does find that it is not a suitable solution for him, he can simply enable the service again and we can help him find another way of dealing with this.

I do use the snipping tool a lot, but there are freeware software packages out there that can do the same thing. But I didn't take the disable the service route so I haven't had an issue.
