And it runs on RedHat so it is stable.

Nigel
I can show you DVS Venice capturing Avid native mxf media onto ISIS and
checking into Interplay when you are over if you like?
It also transfers P2 and XDCAM material onto ISIS and checks it into
Interplay.
All of this can be done while you are playing / editing with the
incoming material.
We can offer up to four channels of ingest / output / transcode
(hardware accelerated) that handles recording to and playback from (this
is not an exhaustive list;
Uncompressed DPX, BMP and Cineon, TGA, TIFF, YUV8, YUV10, and YUV16 file
sequences.
GXF (MPEG2), DV-DIF (DVCPro100), JP2 and JPC file sequences (as 10bit
RGB or YUV, 12bit RGB or YUV, 12bit XYZ and 8bit YUV)
QuickTime wrapped MOV files (as uncompressed 10bit YUV422, 8 bit UYVY,
AVC-Intra 100 & 50, DNxHD 120, DNxHD 185 8bit & 10bit, DVCProHD 100,
ProRes Proxy, LT, 422, HQ, 4444, XDCAM EX35Mbps VBR 8bit 4:2:0, XDCAMHD
25Mbps CBR 8bit 4:2:0, XDCAMHD 35Mbps CBR 8bit 4:2:0, XDCAMHD 50Mbps CBR
8bit 4:2:2
MPEG 2 with fully user configurable GOP structure etc.
JPEG2000 as MXF in 10bitRGB, 12bit RGB and 12bit XYZ and MPEG VES
Avid OPAtom MXF (all the from 36 to 440 - yes, you read right)
MXF OP1a as AVC-Intra 50, 100 and 200, AS-02, Avid (with a choice of
multichannel or mono audio in the single file) for archives, DVCProHD,
JPEG2000, XDCAM EX, XDCAMHD 18-50
Of course it does SD as well - in that case it will record native Avid
media to ISIS as DV25, DVCPro25 and 50 as well as IMX30, 40 or 50.
We have hardware up and downconvert during ingest / transcode or
playout.
It's internal storage is StorNext so you can access it like an Xsan if
you want to get at the recorded material directly on the storage
(assuming you are not recording onto ISIS and checking into Interplay)

Subject: [Avid-L2] Multicam Capture
I'm a bit out of the loop on this.
What are people using for multicam studio capture for direct avid use? I
really need DNx and probably SD
I looked a couple of years ago but hoping an improvement somewhere?
Ingex is still a boys bedroom thing
Pipleine might do it but not sure it will make straight DnX files
Hypershuttle is cheap but won't do compressed
Quadrus anyone?
Any others?
Thanks
