May I suggest that anyone who is interested in Multicam capture also take a look at the two EditShare product lines -- Flow and Geevs? We can capture in almost every flavor of DNxHD, as well as XDCAM, AVC-i, DVC Pro HD, ProRes, and Uncompressed HD. Avid formats go into OpAtom wrappers. QuickTime go into MOV files. We do Edit While Capture. We also have extensive SD support. We have a great interface for fast one-click logging.
Flow is for capture only: http://www.editshare.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=61&Itemid=105
Geevs does capture and playback: http://www.editshare.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=67&Itemid=106
When you do multicam capture in Avid formats, we create "group clips" that you can drag and drop into your Avid application. Geevs can take GPI triggers from a video switcher and makes a cut sequence based on your isos. No need to record the switched feed. And when you do match frame in Avid, you match back to the group clips.
We support capturing to a variety of storage options, of course including EditShare's own central storage.
