[Avid-L2] Re: Marianna - Does a new MC v.6 license work with earlier versions of software?

In my experience with 5.5 to 6.0 with a serial number I can bounce between them without having to reenter the previous serial number, after the necessary uninstall and reinstall. I guess this is related to the change in registration procedure in V6. Of course the bounce I've done was more experimental and didn't involve upgrading boris and other plugins to 64 bit. That combined with the user settings changes creates problems that make it not very desirable without a dual boot setup. Without the previous install of 5.5 I would assume this wouldn't work.
