[Avid-L2] Re: AMA Canon 5D Footage Fps and raster size?

 

Steve you are right just like when DV cam footage is brought into a show that was shot 720x486 with different cameras the DV footage has a few black lines at the top and bottom. To be precise it should have even numbers of lines of black to avoid field order issues depending on the software you're using. I also said I was curious why I didn't see the black lines at the top which are usually 4 lines IIRC when I viewed the ama'd clip in the source monitor. I'm still not sure about that but when I get back to my normal symphony I'll check the same clip to see.
