Re: [Avid-L2] Re: FR: Add Export Features, like Batch and separate channels

My understanding is anything here with a FR: will be seen by Frank and
his gang. Although unless they see it often enough, not much may happen.
To quote the Marvelous M and M:

Believe me.... I can hear all of you. :->

Mike also writes: " What I would personally like to see is a list of
features/functions that
we collectively feel 'other' systems offer that we are missing on an Avid.
Then Avid/Sony/Apple can all write out it down and SOMEONE will make the system
we all want. "

I agree with this and in fact, a few L'ers and I have discussed this very
thing.

How about this..... post your feature requests with FR /product name, at the
beginning of the message . Since this will generate tons of posts I am sure,
do me a favor..... if you are responding to another persons post with additions
or opinion on the feature, then leave the FR in the subject line. However,
if you are just sending a one liner like... " yeh.. that s a great one" or...
"what where you thinkiing?" please remove the FR. I want to make sure I
collect every one and I don't want to spend time opening and reading posts that
are OT to the FR. Pretty please..... :->"

With the rewrite fro 64 bit it is possible many requests may start being
dealt with which may have been chewed up by legacy s/w issues before.
eg: and off the top of my head, a better title tool, improved color
correction and improved audio capabilities.

I will admit I am in favour of this one as well. Especially with exports
for the web in a Unity environment it is frustration to the max to be
going through a clunky export dance repeatedly. Not something I have
been through for a few years but remembered with horror.
