Thanks for the info, Tim and Whaity!

I downloaded a sample XF300 file from an Italian site, and it seemed to work
as Tim described -- files are in a folder structure; but, the Avid does a
Fast Import of the .MXF. Media Composer identifies it as XDCAM-HD.
