Michael's departure will be a devastating loss to Avid Technology. Without
Michael, every CEO, including the current one, as well as, sales,
engineering. AE's and marketing would not be able to "talk the talk" or "
walk the walk". The includes all of Avid's competitors. This is devastating
for all new ventures for Avid. Michael is the person Avid goes to when they
need a process simplified. The post production community is acutely aware of
this. Whoever gets the good fortune of working with Michael next, is very
lucky. Personally working with him has been an honour. I am very sad to hear
this.
