RE: [Avid-L2] Re: Media Composer audio options

In my home setup I've got one of these hooked up to a pair of KRK Rokit G2 speakers;

Gives a balanced output over 1/4'' TRS and you can pick one up super cheap on ebay. Good clean audio to your speakers with minimum fuss. HTH

Is there something that allows me to just get audio signal from my computer to my speakers?

An MXO2 Mini is something I want to eventually get but I just need something that will allow me to change volume and get signal to my speakers without using the headphone jack.

Im actually looking to do the same sort of thing.

How do people get audio from the computer to their monitors without using the headphone out?

Right now Im running out of the 8th inch jack in my computer to stereo XLR into my monitors.

I have a presonus FP10 but Avid doesn't like it when I plug it in.

Is there a piece of gear that allows me to go out of USB or FIREWIRE into the device and then to my monitors?

Mackie 1202

I like the Big Knob but it does not have a preamp for mics.
