Well, not exactly free to any owner of a mac. You must have a qualified copy of Final Cut Pro, Motion, or Compressor installed on the system you want to run that installer on. So if you are running a different editing software, lets say Premier, then you have to go buy Motion or Compressor so the codecs will instal. But that's a small price to pay for a business. But it's possible that once they are installed on one system that they can just be copied to another system. I'm not sure about that. I have not tried it.
