Agreed. I was responding to James.

Maybe I misread him as well.

My problem is more with the misuse of images and effects. It irks me when I watch something that has no forethought or premise. Just a hodgepodge of visuals and sound bites with no real understanding of the language of film.

Yes creativity, free expression, pushing the norm. These are all important.

And there are no rules.... And it depends on the context.

Though I too believe page turn=new job and that pushes are funny.
