[Avid-L2] Wow - Nov 3

I guess it's a good thing I'm not in marketing, because it seems strange to me, but Avid has added their webcast announcement of "what has professional editors talking" to the November 3rd 'pro film' news pile. Canon, RED, and Avid. Who else?

I wonder who will get lost in the news cycle? Maybe it will be an all-inclusive media news day with lots of attention for everyone! hmmm. Or, maybe guilt by association will be a good thing? I suppose as long as Canon writes a good AMA plug for… whatever they're doing… and RED sticks to their codec that already works in MC 5.5.3, whatever Avid has to say can just support the announcements later in the day. Let's hope that's how it goes!
