[Avid-L2] Re: [OT] Excursion Pictures from Apex Electronics

 

I had a very similar experience around 2000 when I went back to KABC to edit the local oscar Pre and Post show fashion pieces. They had to rebuild the betasp edit suite that had been dismantled so I could edit. While looking for a preview switcher in what had been the news control room I stumbled on 5 or 6 Vpr 3's and a host of waveforms and other gear. I too was saddened. I felt like the Vpr3's were Old Yeller and I was holding the shot gun. Time marches on.
