Hi guys,
Yes, I think I fully understand what the message means, but not how to get
around it.
1. I have a seat on the EditShare of the ProdCo next door.
2. They give me a copy of a finished sequence which I copy to my local MC.
3. All the offline media seen by the sequence is 10:1.
4. I want to re-import the file sources at 2:1 onto my local storage.
5. MC imports them all and writes the MXF files to my local storage but.
6. After each import it writes to the Console: Exception:
DISK_ACCESS_DENIED, <path to original 10:1 offline media>.
7. After completing all the imports the clips still show as 10:1.
So, I assume that MC is wanting to write something to the offline mxf media
and because I only have read access to those drives it fails.
Suggestions as to a workflow that will, er, work?
Thanks,
Tony
