There's a change in the HD Codecs between... like... 3 and 4 or 4 and 5... but otherwise you shouldn't have any problems brining it forward. You'll 'update' your effects if you have any. Also, some plug-ins, like boris, aren't forward-compatible. I'm guessing you'll have to re-render precomputes, too...

Duplicate the project somewhere before you update it- but it should work just fine.
