Not sure why you'd want an eSATA connection for a device that burns at a speed slower than USB1, but I bought the pioneer unit from Videoguys.com and it's working just fine with AvidDVD/Sonic.

Subject: [Avid-L2] Blu Ray Q
We're looking to add a BluRay burner. Probably going to get an internal for one of our Z800 W7 boxes. Any recommendations? Are there also good standalone units with USB/FW/eSata connection that will work with AvidDVD/Sonic?
Thanks,
KEN
