Re: [Avid-L2] Imac vs MacPro

 

We have been using the Imac on MC5 for several weeks now, and just put a
Thunderbolt raid on it. Editing with no problem so far. Two
monitors for MC, and a third off the Thunderbolt chain doing full screen
video.

Also have CS5 on the same box. No FCP though. We haven't kept the
updates up, and I just can't stomach FCPX.

Will let y'all know if we run into any issues. The only thing we're
seeing right now is the that Imac runs extremely hot, but that's not
uncommon for any Mac.
