I got a cll last night from a friend and long-time FCP editor.
Among the many topics of his anger he mentioned one of the effects he uses a lot on pitch presentations, sizzle reels and such called "Bad TV" (I think it was named that). He said it was dumbed-down to about 2 sliders!

On a side-note . . .
IMHO: If Avid doesn't actively court the disaffected FCP users (ASAP!), then Adobe is going to be the big winner on this I think.
