Re: [Avid-L2] Media Tool in 5.0.3 on a Mac getting NO RESULTS

Thanks for the suggestion. It turned out that the Production company DID fail to send audio. Coming tomorrow on a 16gig USB stick! Some didn't fit, last 2 gigs were ftpd. I was pretty confident that it wasn't an Avid or user issue when I only saw "vo1" files in the MXF folder.

It really is funny how we're moving media around nowadays.

When I started my own place just seven years ago, I was still getting FedEx packages with DigiBeta tapes. Now, it's "sticks" and "cloud."

Pete is right, we've noticed that when transcoding from AMA (or anywhere really when in an all MXF project) unless you tick the three audio tickboxes in the transcode window then the audio doesn't come across. Often you don't notice til it's too late because the audio is still linking to your other media, then you send it to someone and WHAM!, no audio. HTH
