I suspect Premiere Pro will now follow the path that FCP took - going from
popular among "less demanding professionals" to seriously competing for the
higher end editorial work that Avid has traditionally dominated. Only I
think it's rise will be quicker - mainly because of the push it is getting
from FCP's demise in that world.
I think the silence from Apple is the "Deel Wid It" response, and a backdown
on the EOL of FCP would be very out of character.

[Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
If you want to donate to Red Cross quake relief, you can do so through your cell phone. Text redcross to 90999 to make a $10 donation. It will be on your next cell bill.
