[Avid-L2] Looking for upgrade guidance

 

Ok everyone, could use a bit of help here...

At the office we are all PC all the time.  Last year we bought a seat of Avid 4.x.  I have that installed on the office editing station along with the laptop.  We bought this version because we wanted ScriptSync and LOVE IT!  So my Mac came in today which I will be using at home, and I'd like to run Avid on it too.  So herein lies the dilemma.

I want to run Avid MC 5.5 on the Mac.  I want ScriptSync.  What is the cheapest/best way for me to get there.  Since I will NEVER run Avid concurrently, can I use my license from the office legally?  If not, do I try to find a copy of MC4 to upgrade to 5.5?  Do I need to buy 5.5 outright and just pay for ScriptSync?

What say you?
