[Avid-L2] Best software for converting 30 HD to 24?

 

Hi Folks,

We have a bunch of footage shot 30fps which we want to run at 24 in an FCP project, real time (that means no slow down). We've tried a Compressor conversion, and the results are unacceptable, lots of motion artifacting and frame smearing. Do you folks know of another 3rd party plug in, utility, or hardware solution that will do this for us cleanly?
