It looks like 10.6.8 will be the final version of 1.6. For those of us who will avoid 10.7 for as long as possible -- there is the temptation to upgrade to it.
I'm currently running 10.6.6.
Is anyone running MC 5.0.3.8 under 10.6.7 and/or 10.6.8 even though Avid has not approved any OS X version higher than 10.6.6?
Lastly:
1) Is 5.0.3.8 the highest version of V5? I think it is.
2) Does anyone have a link to the year old video showing how to use the Timeline features introduced in V5.
3) Given Apple will do everything to force us to upgrade to 10.7 (e.g., iCloud) has Avid stated anything about what version (and when) will support 10.7?
My concern is that should Avid re-offer a deal for FCP users it will be to V5.5 which will then require a paid upgrade to a version (V6?) that will run under 10.7. FCP users need a "certain" way/cost to get to 10.7.
