It would work when being feed from my SD Sony camera over firewire but
it would not see the firewire output from an avid. I was hoping it was
just a matter of the firewire pin outs but it seemed to be more of a
protocol issue. I never really found out the definitive answer but I
know I could take the firewire output of my avid into my fw camera and
it saw the video there but would not with on location. Does iChat not
invoke the kind of protocol issue that I had with "On Location"?
