you need to tell us:
- the tape and project framerate
- if in a 23.98 project, whether or not the logged clips have the in point on an A frame
- if the deck is fed tri-level and NTSC sync
- if the RS422 is set for native or converted timecode on the deck side
- what deck template you're using
- what hardware/breakout box on the Avid
cheers,

Randomly, some of the clips in a logged list will be captured with the audio
out of sync with video by upto 1 second. The audio is coming in embedded
with video from a Sony SR5500. The MC is 5.0.3.x., the CPU's are z400's.
Other times, some of the clips won't be captured and it takes several
attempts to batch capture them. And suddenly with no other intervention,
everything starts working normally! Virus? Bug? Are virii considered bugs?
Any insight appreciated.
Tks
Raj

If you want to donate to Red Cross quake relief, you can do so through your cell phone. Text redcross to 90999 to make a $10 donation. It will be on your next cell bill.
