Thanks, guys. Sounds like the mic won't be a problem. The 1080/23.98
however, is a problem. Would the solution for this be to cut 1080/23.98
material in a 720p project, or would it be better to cut it in a 1080i
project (if that's even possible). My mind is now FCP oriented and I'm not
sure of how the project format/timeline format/frame rate interactions are
handled by the Avid at this point.
Thanks for any advice, because the next step is returning/selling the IO
Express and getting a Mojo DX while I curse Avid for not supporting the LHi
instead.
