These movies are really nice and have a great look. I have shot on and off all my life but usually hire crews now. But I did get a 7d, first to get a good DSLR for home use, but second, to see what all the video buzz is about. I can see the possibility for great shots but I am always frustrated with the difficulty in focus and clumsy handling of the camera. I'm not crazy about investing another 1.5K in a rig and monitor but I can see that is what you need to really work the camera as video camera.
But its always inspiring to see great work coming off these cameras.
