I use an Apricorn DriveWire Storage Controller - IDE / SATA. Allows any
(loose) drive to be quickly connected via USB to another computer.

Subject: [Avid-L2] IDE to newer for archive data
What simple method do folks have for transferring archival data from a stack
of old IDE HDDs for archive on more modern drives with a computer that no
longer has IDE plugs on the motherboard (without unplugging the optical
drives)?
It is probably idiotically obvious, but I am a part-time idiot.
