The only sure way is to turn off AMA.
But sometimes checking ³When mounting previously mounted volumes, do not
check for modifications to the volume.² in the AMA Volume Mounting Tab will
help.
This won¹t be of any use if you regularly use new volumes, but if it¹s a
volume on a server that you use regularly, it helps.
I¹ve begged Avid for a feature that allows AMA to be on and turning off auto
mounting.
