[Avid-L2] was DSLR Metadata? Now: DSLR Buzz

Its amazing how much info is out there on the "best" rigs, tripods, cases, etc. Everyone has a blog or a tutorial going on using DSRL cams for shooting. Its funny, for one who started shooting a TK76 (I know, dating myself) and was always longing for smaller lighter cameras, to see these DSLRs with all the rigging they look like a roving junk pile. There is nothing graceful or even practical (for real run and gun shooting) about a fully rigged DSLR with the video monitor, audio monitor, mic for reference, wireless receivers, viewfinder, hand grips with focus knob, maybe a zoom knob, and shoulder mount. I have less crap in all of my garage than you are carrying around here. And it looks like it would get caught or hung up on just about anything you brush by. That's a lot to take for DOF.

Goin out to buy my rig now ;-)
