Oh! I'm feeling utterly excited for actually being able to answer a question here and not only reading everything all of you write and profit from your wisdom.
To the point,
I also found the MediaConcept transcoder very helpful, we use it a lot where I teach, and up until today the students (2 years already) didn't have any problem with the workflow. I do recommend consolidating after AMAing, because, and I can't back it up in a scientific way, I feel that the MC4 have some problem playing the files without that. But it might have to do with the fact that our computer were up to date just before Eisenstein cut his first Montage.
Now I'll get back to running around in excitement.
