[Avid-L2] Edit Suite audio monitoring

 

HI there,

We are looking around for alternative audio monitoring control solutions. Up
until now we have used the rack mount type units with Audio meters and
de-embedders and monitoring outputs built in. These used to fit quite nicely
under or over our CRT monitors. However CRT's are no more and these boxes
now seem very large and cumbersome so I want an alternative but with similar
functionality.

So take Embedded HD/SDI and decode to 2 analogue XLR outputs to feed
speakers with level control and PPM/VU metering of 2 channels. A company
called Murraypro do something like this in the UK but I'm wondering what
else is out there?
