[Avid-L2] best way to avoid scale lines

 

I have a 1280x720 seq going to SDdvd. I get a very nice encode using sorenson or Encore (thanks for all the tips on this list) but getting some of those nasty scaling lines on some zooms. They are not really back but wondering if I can get rid of them all together. Should I pick a different size in the encode process? Any tips on getting rid of these? I see the lines mostly on the stills in zoom in on in the piece.
