They should just hike ticket prices and see if the market will bear it.

I don't go to Muvico for a similar reason: They don't do free refills on
soda or popcorn. Every other theater I go to in our neck of the woods
offers 1 free refill on large soda and large corns. 4 people in the
family=2 large sodas and 1 large popcorn w/a refills.
As nice as I'm sure it must be to be able to have an order of quick-fried
frozen squid rings and a cocktail when taking your kids to a movie, gimme
that popcorn refill! I mean I did just pay $5.75 for a 1/2 cent worth of
corn kernels in a 4 cent paper bag, and I'm not even using any of the
butter-themed popcorn varnish.
